Preservation on Film – Caught in the Act

The sunshine popped out and finally decided to shine some nice weather on us for Saturady. However, Sunday looks like a repeat of the gray and gloom we saw earlier in the week. So, why not curl up with a little bit of history? Emily Potter of the National Trust for Historic Preservation put together a list  of films “[10 on Tuesday] Preservation-Themed Movies” that center around preserving and restoring historic buildings. While the films range from dramatic to hilarious, in the end, the results are the same. A beautiful old building is saved, as are the memories that go with it; some new memories are created along the way. Check out her blog on the Preservation Trust’s website to see a list of these great films. Can you think of any other films that feature building preservation?
